Continuing the tour I made with my dear friend Froonck for the best hotels in Rio de Janeiro, it was time to talk about the Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort. As well defined our guide and manager of groups & events of the hotel, Christiane Oliveira, he is an urban resort. With direct access to Prainha do vidigal and privileged view, it has all the services and amenities of a large resort foot in the sand, but within one of the most luxurious regions of Rio de Janeiro, Leblon.

Some of the halls, are more than ten, hold up to 400 guests seated and others, like the Carioca Lounge, which is a delight, facing the beach and killed with the sea breeze, can comfortably accommodate 350 people seated. The Convention center, in turn, has complete infrastructure to receive up to 3000 guests. What I like about Sheraton is the fact that it pleases all tastes. The grooms that choose the housing for the big day will find both closed and air-conditioned lounges, as well as open and outdoor options.
Another great advantage, and that is I always say to my grooms, is the ease of infrastructure, which may seem silly at first, but it is the one that most emends a marriage at the end. The Sheraton Grand Rio Hotel & Resort offers all the necessary infrastructure for the wedding, from air conditioning, generator and parking, to buffet with menu signed by renowned chefs (altogether there are four options of restaurants that serve French, Italian and Brazilian specialties). And for items that are not available at the hotel, such as decorator, florist, advice… The bride and groom have complete freedom to choose their suppliers. There are no rules or limitations regarding the professionals.
And since Rio is one of the most sought-after places for destination wedding, the Sheraton also cares about the guests. Altogether there are 538 apartments, nine of them with accessibility, to receive all styles and pockets. And when the bride and groom close a large package, professionals are at the disposal of the group. Even secure transportation from the airport to the hotel they provide. Too much, huh?
Another of the wonders of the hotel is the Shine Spa, which is awarded and very disputed by guests and tourists who are in the city and want to make a spa day. In it, the grooms can book a room for the day of the bride and groom, gather the bridesmaids, do hair, make up, massage, everything for the big day.
