Destination wedding in Italy: get to know Borgo Laticastelli, in Monteriggioni, Tuscany

Hi guys all right? After many posts about Qatar and the region, I’m back today to post one of the darlings of bride and groom all over the world: Italy. I was graced with the opportunity to visit a truly enchanting place in Tuscany: the Borgo Laticastelli Country Relais, located in Monteriggioni, perfect for a destination wedding in Italy with a country atmosphere. And who received me was my dear friend and general manager of the hotel, Eglantine.

From the moment I set foot in Laticastelli I was transported into a medieval fairytale. The stunning architecture of the Borgo, with its stone walls, majestic towers and windows framed by flowering vines, left me in love. Every detail has been meticulously preserved, recalling the historical richness of the place. It was as if I had traveled back in time to an era when castles and fortresses dominated the landscape. Inside the Borgo, the interiors didn’t disappoint. The rooms, 33 in all, are spacious and luxurious, with elegant furniture and carefully chosen decor. Rooms offer breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills bathed in golden sunlight. It’s impossible not to wake up happy there! Once again, thinking about weddings, burgundy is perfect, because it has a great size. Accommodates 80 people in all, that is.

Gastronomy in Laticastelli was a real feast for the senses. The Borgo’s restaurants offer a variety of delicious dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The flavors of Tuscany are celebrated at every meal, from homemade ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinach, to succulent Chianina beef steaks, accompanied by a glass of wine produced in nearby wineries. Every meal was an unforgettable dining experience, a real treat for the palate. And thinking about the wedding, I’m sure your guests will never forget Borgo’s food. It’s simply delicious. I’m writing and salivating here.

Furthermore, Borgo Laticastelli is known to be a dream wedding venue. The wedding venues are simply stunning. Manicured gardens with lush flowers provide the perfect setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony. The party can take place at the restaurant, for example. As for the bride and groom who insist on a religious ceremony, there are several churches for religious ceremonies. Very close to Laticastelli there is a chapel for 50 people, ideal for intimate and small weddings. On the outskirts of Rapolano Terme, a 5-minute drive away, you will find Pieve di San Vittore. A very old Romanesque church, with a very special religious meaning and which has already been chosen in previous weddings.

To this day, I remain enchanted. My visit to Borgo Laticastelli in Monteriggioni in Tuscany was an experience that will be etched in my memory forever. The impressive architecture, mouth-watering cuisine and stunning wedding venues made my stay there unforgettable.

Wassup what did you think? I hope you felt all the magic of this place through the photos.

See you next week!

Kisses,

Simone.
