Recipes: Spritz Aperol and Clericot are great choices for day weddings

Clericot: fresh, lindo e delicioso
Clericot: fresh, beautiful and delicious

Today I spent a delicious day with a dear bride and decided to share with you one of the decisions we made. As her wedding will be during the day, in a place with a beautiful field in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, the idea is to spend all day partying, lunch, snack and even dinner.

The choices of the day were the drinks, and for me she got it right in the stakes. My suggestions were the fresh drinks, which she loved. Whenever I think of day parties, I remember Italy and France. To me, there are no people with better drinks than them. From Italy, I bring Spritz Aperol in my heart. Already from France, the traditional mega Clericot . I think travel makes me more sentimental, and I just can’t resist it. (laughs).

And not just for wedding, not both drinks are ideal for any occasion, from a good barbecue with friends, to a closer meeting between family members. I love them so much because they are easy to make, much easier than a redneck, for example, and much prettier than a can of beer. As a weeding planer , I can assure you, drinking is always one of the highlights of an event, even at the time of criticism.

See below for a little more of the drinks and my favorite recipes!

Spritz aperol

If you have a drink that managed to make our famous caipirinha afraid of the best of the best in 2011, it was Spritz Aperol. The success of the drink was so great that the traditional Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera even announced its reign at the time. “Goodbye beer, it’s spritz time,” published the newsletter, which was followed by The New York Times and many other Brazilian tabloids.

Raised in the Venetian region of Italy, the spritz is based on Aperol, a bitter orange (divine) appetizer that wins the company of prosecco, club soda and ice, with lots of ice. Colorful, the drink is super refreshing, so be careful as it can easily spill you. (laughs).

Below I separated one of my favorite recipes. See how easy it is to do!

Ingredient :

  • 1 dose of Aperol;
  • 1 dose of prosecco;
  • club soda or sparkling water;
  • ice;
  • 1 orange slice

Method of preparation:

  • Put the ice in first, so it settles down and begins to freeze the drink from the bottom up;
  • Put Aperol, the soda and lastly, the prosecco;
  • To decorate, there are people who put the orange slice on the edge of the glass, which I prefer, but it is also valid to put the fruit in the glass, so it accentuates the orange flavor of aperol.

Clericot

Now is the time to catch the plane and disembark in nineteenth-century France for a meeting of the gods. The point ? The trendy country clubs, restricted outdoor parties and those rotten chic piques at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. And the guest of honor? Clericot, one of my favorite drinks.

Besides delicious, refreshing and beautiful, yes very beautiful, the Clericot is a great choice to harmonize environments. As his preparation is collective, the guests become “complicit” in that jar, so the conversation flows much better when you share something. Whenever I serve at weddings and engagements, I find that people socialize more when he is present.

In the case of Clericot, the idea is to be creative in preparation. As he is the summer cousin of (red wine) sangria, here freshness is a key part. I do not believe you have a specific rule to do so, but what you need is fruit, and there comes your taste, white or sparkling wine, sugar, ice and a shot of liqueur. For me the combination of apple, strawberry, pear, kiwi, peach and litchi is great.

Below is one of the recipes I serve most in ceremonials.
