Hi everyone, how are you? Today I want to share a beautiful destination wedding in Italy that I had the pleasure of organizing! Jessica and Vinicius celebrated their love at the marvelous Castello di Gargonza, in the Arezzo region of Tuscany. Organizing this wedding was a true pleasure for me and the entire Aonde Casar team , in partnership with my local Italian professionals, who are already like an extension of our team in Brazil — trained and prepared to create impeccable celebrations in every detail.
Castello di Gargonza is one of the most enchanting places I’ve ever visited. Located about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Florence and 2 hours from Rome, the medieval castle seems suspended in time. It’s surrounded by verdant hills, cypress trees, and a view that embraces the Valdichiana. Simply charming! Its history begins in the 13th century, when Gargonza was a fortified village inhabited by peasant families and artisans. Today, fully restored, the castle maintains its original atmosphere, with stone alleyways, historic towers, and a charming little church in the center of the village – the perfect setting for intimate and soulful weddings.
Besides its natural beauty, one of the great advantages of Castello di Gargonza for destination weddings is its infrastructure. The venue offers accommodations for up to 80 guests , its own restaurant, and versatile halls for different styles of celebration. It’s the kind of place that allows the wedding to last several days, with guests sharing a unique experience together, almost like a romantic retreat in Tuscany.
The bride and the big day
Jessica looked absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than usual (which is already difficult!). For her big day, she chose a simple, strapless, asymmetrical dress with a yoke, a sophisticated design that accentuated her neckline and elegant bearing. Her beauty look, created by Amanda, followed the same theme: smoky eyes, rosy lips, and loose hair with a veil – light, feminine, and natural.

Ceremony: delicacy and emotion in the castle’s little church.
Jessica and Vinicius were married in the small church of Gargonza, a stone space with centuries of history and a soft light that seemed to bless the moment. The religious ceremony was conducted by Father Wagner, who moved everyone with words full of love and faith. The bride had a very clear wish: an all-white floral design that reflected lightness and elegance. Thus was born the decoration designed by the talented Elisabetta, who created delicate arrangements with hydrangeas, carnations, and roses, perfectly matching the style of the castle. The reception took place in the castle’s ballroom, with the same white floral concept, creating a classic and timeless atmosphere. Every detail reflected the couple’s style – simple, elegant, and genuine.

This wedding was also special for another reason: the couple found me through the lovely Rayana Sacramento, wife of Sam Sacramento, an incredible photographer and long-time partner who lives in the United States capturing the most beautiful weddings. Sam, along with his team, including the talented Henrique, was responsible for the moving photos that immortalized this day.
And nothing makes me happier than reading words like those of Jessica herself, who said:
“Simone! Everything was perfect! Much better than we could have imagined. Everything went so smoothly and calmly, just the way we wanted. Amanda (makeup artist), a sweetheart who did an excellent job! Elisabetta (decorator), professional, kind, friendly, who made everything go as smoothly as possible. Henrique, from Sam’s team, a friend, professional, kind, polite. Father Wagner, an angel who blessed our lives even more. It couldn’t have been better.”
Seeing Jessica and Vinicius say “I do” under the Tuscan sky, surrounded by friends, family, and the magical energy of Castello di Gargonza, was the perfect embodiment of what a destination wedding should be: an intimate, authentic, and unforgettable celebration.
So, what did you think?
Beautiful, isn’t it?
Until the next post!
Kisses,
Simone
