Destination Wedding in Italy: Discover the 16th century Villa Pliniana, at Lago di Como

Welcome to Villa Pliniana

Last week I showed all the details of the hotel Il Sereno, in Largo di Como, signed by top designer Patricia Urquiola. But it was not the only paradise that received the keen and tasteful look of it, the neighboring Villa Pliniana as well. And I can talk, she roced! His contemporary gaze gave a new moment to that 16th century palace. And today, Villa Pliniana specializes in events and weddings for up to 200 people.

I was delighted with the infrastructure, are 18 hectares by the lake. The palace has 18 rooms, accommodating up to 40 guests. And here, my suggestion is always to choose the parents and siblings of the bride and groom, of course. Many brides ask me who should stay in the same hotel as the bride and groom in these cases. As the groomsmen usually have a greater expense with the wedding (dress, gift, tea bar and kitchen…), I think it is delicate of the part of the bride and groom choose them to share the same hotel.

This is one of the indoor lounges, which is also possible to make events

In addition to the rooms with different decorations, the hotel also has a dock for private boats, which is a good option for pre and post wedding events, Heliponto, a divine spa (not wanted to leave there) and beautiful gardens, very beautiful and that yield beautiful photos of Engaged (before and after the wedding). What we realize is that, as old as the building, it has been updated, which is very important for everyone's comfort.

I loved this garden…
… And look how it gets assembled for the ceremony
Have you ever thought about marrying this view?

Unlike Il Sereno, which is more modern, Villa Pliniana is a good option for the most romantic couples, who seek a little bit of European history for this moment. I think the two options are valid, but I confess that this one is a thrill. Marrying in a 16th century palace, with a breathtaking surroundings is very special, a unique experience. And in front of all this, good news: It is almost nil the decoration RS! The halls are beautiful, all the environments have as a view to the nature of the surroundings, the light is wonderful… In other words, you'll just need it for dinner items. Joking aside, but I find it important to emphasize this for those seeking a destination wedding. Choosing a place that alone is dazzling makes all the difference in the final budget.

This was a wedding that happened at the hotel. The décor all white stressed the beauty of nature
Look how beautiful it was that table mounted on the porch
This is already in the inner part, but you can perceive the light that enters through the huge windows

And the Villa Pliniana has a luxury hospitality service, which means that the service is impeccable, the gastronomy is starry, the staff is trained and ready to receive weddings… Everything works very well. I think it gave you guys to realize that I loved this place, right? I can't wait to have a wedding over there!

I wanted to show you a little bit of the rooms, which are super modern
Passionate about this bathroom marble

Oh! I was forgetting, Mr. Spotify, himself the owner of this musical platform, married in Villa Pliniana entitled to Mark Zuckerberg as godfather and show of Bruno Mars, little thing, right!? Lol.

I hope you enjoyed the post today.

Until next time!

Kisses,
Simone
